Sequoia's Michael Moritz interviews Marc Andreesen (founder Netscape & Opsware, co-founder Ning), David Filo (co-founder Yahoo), and Chad Hurley (co-founder YouTube).
Michael Moritz focuses on software and services investments. Prior to joining Sequoia Capital in 1986, he worked in a variety of positions at Time Warner and was a Founder of Technologic Partners.

Marc Andreessen is the co-founder of Ning, a consumer internet company. He also serves on the board of Open Media Network. Marc is best known as a co-founder and chief technical mind behind Netscape Communications Corporation and co-author of Mosaic, the first widely-used web browser.

David Filo is the co-founder and chief yahoo of Yahoo Inc. He remains instrumental in executing Yahoo!'s original vision and making the company one of the most recognizable names on the Internet. Filo, a native from Moss Bluff, LA, co-developed the Yahoo! Internet navigational guide in April 1994 and took a leave of absence from Stanford’s Ph.D. program in April 1995 to co-found Yahoo! Inc. Filo has served as an officer of the company since March 1995, and served as a director of the company from its founding through 1996. Filo holds a B.S. degree in computer engineering from Tulane University and an M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University.

Chad Hurley is CEO of YouTube and co-founded the company in February 2005. Chad and co-founder/CTO, Steve Chen, led YouTube to a $1.65 billion buy out with Google within a year of its launch. Chad's overall vision for YouTube is to keep the process of watching and sharing video effortless for everyone. As CEO, Chad's responsibilities include oversight of business development, marketing and operations for the company. He also created YouTube’s distintive logo and clean, simple interface that lets the community easily interact and share video across the globe. Prior to YouTube, Chad was the first user-interface designer at PayPal. Chad received a B.A in Fine Art at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Mark Zuckerberg is the CEO of Facebook, which he founded in 2004. Facebook is a social utility that helps people communicate more efficiently with their friends, families and coworkers. Mark is responsible for setting the overall direction and product strategy for the company. He leads the design of Facebook’s service and development of its core technology and infrastructure. Mark attended Harvard University and studied computer science before moving the company to Palo Alto, California.
